Rates & Insurance

I want this to be straightforward. Therapy is an investment, and you deserve to know exactly what it costs before you reach out. No surprises.

Questions about rates? Bring them to the free consultation call — no commitment required.

Intake Session
$150

First appointment

Ongoing Sessions
$120

50–60 min per session

Sliding scale available for clients who need it. Just ask — I won't make it a big deal.

Session Rates

What to expect, financially.

Sessions run 50 to 60 minutes. Most clients meet weekly, especially early on — consistency tends to matter more than frequency in the long run. We'll figure out a cadence that makes sense for you.

Intake Session — $150

Your first appointment. We spend most of the time just talking — what brought you in, what you're hoping for, a bit of your history. By the end, you'll have a sense of what working together might look like.

Ongoing Sessions — $120

Individual sessions, 50 to 60 minutes each. Most clients meet weekly to start. We'll figure out a cadence that makes sense for where you are and what you're working through.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of each session. I accept major credit and debit cards and HSA/FSA cards.

Note to Tiffanie: please confirm accepted payment methods before launch so we can update this section.

Insurance

In-network plans

I'm in-network with the following insurers. If you're insured with one of these plans, your sessions may be covered in full or in part depending on your specific plan and deductible.

Anthem

In-network for individual outpatient therapy sessions.

Blue Cross Blue Shield

In-network for individual outpatient therapy sessions.

UnitedHealthcare / UMR

In-network for individual outpatient therapy sessions.

Before your first session

I recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card to understand your mental health benefits — specifically your copay, coinsurance, and whether you have a deductible to meet first. That way there are no surprises.

Additional insurance coming soon. I'm working on expanding which plans I accept. If you don't see your insurer listed, reach out — it's worth a quick conversation about what your options are.

Out-of-Network

Superbills & out-of-network benefits

What's a superbill?
If you have insurance I'm not currently in-network with, you may still be able to get partial reimbursement using a superbill — an itemized receipt I provide after each session that you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network benefits.
Does it apply to you?
Whether this applies to you depends on your specific plan. The best way to find out is to call your insurer and ask: "Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?" · "What is my out-of-network deductible?" · "What percentage is reimbursed after the deductible is met?"
My role
I'm happy to provide superbills for clients who want to pursue this route. Just let me know and I'll make sure you have what you need.

I'm not a billing specialist and can't guarantee what your insurer will or won't cover — that conversation needs to happen directly with your insurance company. I can give you the superbill; what happens next is between you and your plan.

I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients who need it. If the full fee is a barrier, please just ask — I won't make it a big deal, and I won't make you jump through hoops. I believe that cost shouldn't be the only reason someone doesn't get support. If you're not sure whether sliding scale might be available for you, include a note when you reach out and we'll talk about it.

A Note on Cost

Honest, because you deserve that.

Therapy isn't cheap, and I'm not going to pretend it is. What I can tell you is that the work we do together is real — and for the people who find the right fit and do the work, it tends to be one of the more worthwhile things they've invested in.

If the cost is a concern, say so. That's what the sliding scale is for, and that's what the free consultation call is for — to figure out together whether this is a realistic option before anyone makes a commitment.

Questions About Cost? Just Ask.

The free consultation call is the right place to ask about rates, insurance, and whether this works for your situation. No pressure, no commitment — just an honest conversation. I follow up personally after you reach out.
